Reiki Sessions — Nervous System Regulation for Deep Work
Reiki Sessions

Enter a Held Space

Your nervous system has forgotten how to rest. It's learned to manage, brace, stay ready. Reiki teaches your body a different way — how to actually regulate, heal, integrate.

In-person, one-to-one sessions. Ninety minutes. Hands-on work. A space held for you to move from fight-or-flight into the state where your body can finally do the work of healing.

Why This Actually Works

Most people live in chronic low-level activation. Your body thinks it's in danger, so it stays defended. That armor keeps you safe short-term — but it also keeps you from feeling, healing, or going deeper into yourself.

Reiki works directly on your nervous system. It's not mystical hand-waving — it's a regulated, grounded presence that tells your vagus nerve it's safe to relax. Once your parasympathetic system activates (rest-and-digest mode), your body can actually heal.

Paired with shadow work, journaling, or deeper support, Reiki becomes the foundation that makes everything else possible.

90 Minutes — The Experience

Treatment room — candlelight, held space

When You Arrive

You step into the room. Candlelight. The space is held. We talk briefly about what's going on (or not, if you prefer silence). You lie down on the table. There's no agenda — just a regulated presence for you.

The Work — One Hour

Hands-on Reiki. You remain fully clothed. I work through your energetic system, placing hands on various points — head, shoulders, torso, legs. Some people feel warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation. Some feel nothing and still come out transformed. There's no right way to experience this.

Coming Back — 30 Minutes

The work ends, but you stay lying down. I guide you gently back into your body, back into the room. Awareness returning to the sounds, the weight of your body, the table beneath you. When you sit up, you're integrated. Grounded. Not floating. Ready to carry this state into your day.

How People Come

There's no one way. No pressure. No expectation. Come however you need to.

1

One-Off Session

You want to experience what Reiki feels like, or you need a reset. Come once. See what lands. No pressure for anything beyond that.

2

Regular Sessions

Every 2–6 weeks (whatever rhythm works for you). Some people come monthly to stay regulated. Others come when life gets heavy. Your choice, your pace, no expectation.

3

With the Shadow Alchemy Journal

Do Reiki to regulate your nervous system, then use the journal to go deeper. Your system learns to stay calm while you explore shadow work. This combination is where transformation happens.

For Men, Especially

Men are socialized not to take space for wellness. Too vulnerable. Too soft. Unmasculine. So they don't come.

But real strength isn't the absence of softness — it's the ability to regulate your nervous system well enough to face what's actually there. That takes more guts than staying defended.

Reiki is not fluffy. It's a hands-on practice that directly affects your vagus nerve, your stress response, and your capacity to heal. Science backs this. Your body knows the difference between surface relaxation and deep nervous system reset.

You don't need to believe in energy work for Reiki to work. Your nervous system doesn't care about your skepticism — it just responds to regulated presence and physical input.

Come as you are. No special beliefs required.

Why 90 Minutes, Not 60

Most Reiki sessions end abruptly. You're still in that restful state, and suddenly you're supposed to get up and re-enter the world. That's jarring for your nervous system — it pulls you out of integration.

The last 30 minutes here are intentional. After the hands-on work ends, you stay lying down. I guide you back gradually — awareness returning to the sounds in the room, the feeling of the table, the weight of your body. This is integration time, not a rushed transition.

The integration time is as important as the work itself. You leave resourced, not depleted.

And if you're doing shadow work alongside this (like with the journal), you'll have the nervous system capacity to actually face what comes up — without flinching, without needing to numb. Just with clarity.

The Spiritual Piece (Your Choice)

By default, we keep this grounded: nervous system work, energy flow, somatic awareness. No spiritual language unless you ask for it.

But if you want it, I can offer a full breakdown after your session — what I noticed energetically, any blocks or patterns, whether your system felt grounded, and any spiritual presences I picked up on.

After Your Session

You choose: stay in that relaxed state and just leave, or have me share what I sensed during the work. Some people want the framework. Others want to stay in the felt experience. Both are completely valid.

The goal is to meet you where you are — whether that's purely nervous system work or a fuller spiritual exploration. Spiritual presences might include guides, ancestors, relatives, or something beyond what we have language for. You decide how deep you want to go.

What This Is — And Isn't

Reiki is a complement, not a replacement. If you're dealing with trauma, depression, anxiety, or any condition that needs professional support, that comes first. Therapy, counseling, medical care — whatever you need.

Reiki works *alongside* that. It regulates your nervous system so you can actually do the deeper work. It's one part of your toolkit, not the whole thing.

Ready to Regulate

One 90-minute session. In-person. Hands-on work + integration time. Your nervous system learning what deep rest actually feels like.
